2)I chose this quote because it made me think about how people make these rumors and stories about others and they want everyone to take it as the truth especially the neive. Jesse asked Hong is it true that vietnamese dont value their life, and this question came from what Americans think that they see in the vietnamese people. I believe that quick judgements about people should not even be allowed to enter people's minds, get the time to know a person first rather than make conclusions based off of what you "think" you see. Like everyone else, Hong had a life, and it was just as valuable as anyone else's, and anyone who would claim to have no fear of death then they would not live for too long because death wouldve caught them as soon as they hit rock bottom.
